My first real fanart, promised one for a competition on The Black Swordsman Forum - a little, but fine community of Berserk fans. The character is Locus the Moonlight Knight, from, as you can guess - Kentaro Miura's "Berserk" manga. I will not give any background for this character to not spoil the story for someone who didn't read this awesome manga.
I was having difficulties in finding a good rearing horse reference, so I used some sketch of Leonardo da Vinci. He must be turning in grave  . And, when finished, this pic looked a bit like this famous painting of Napoleon, hence the title.It is a little bit rushed, so I'm not so absolutely happy with it. The end of the semester is killing me, I don't have much time, but when I say something I do it. Made with fine ballpoint pens of various companies, ranging from 0.1 to 0.5, on a A4 piece of technical paper. Download for higher (2362 x 2902) resolution. |
